I've never seen something this new with this many miles.

I would guess the P.O. delivered RV's. Most of the million mile pickups live that same life. It doesn't take much to rack up that many miles doing that.

It's got to be a commercial driver, especially since it's a dualie. If those guys are doing well they're basically driving non stop. Looking like 500-600 miles a day for 1.5 years. If multiple drivers are using the same truck that's totally reasonable.

what if its just 29,319.6 miles? 27 large is a lot to pay for ANYTHING with nearly 300k miles on the clock.

It's no doubt been hauling a trailer across the US pretty much nonstop for a whole year and a half. CP

I guess there is a reason it was traded in. Probably its death is near.

Constant trips from Florida to Texas hauling a trailer full of rubber dog shit.

My dad was a messenger in the 80s and would put this many miles on a mitsubishi colt and whatever he drove in 2 years. This amount in 1.5 is insane though.

Funny thing one of his cars got 300k miles on it and burned to the ground and they gave him money for pretty much a new car.

Yeah. Even my house call tradesmen guys don't rack up that much.

I deal with a lot of hot shot drivers who basically drive from Lafayette, LA to South Texas, or West Texas and back every day. The only thing that limits their mileage are DOT sleep regulations.

Damn, and I thought our Super Duty's were ridiculous. 240k on the 2012, and 315k on the 2010.

how convenient that they don't mention the miles in the add...you have to go to the carfax to see that. And how the hell do they justify $27k for a truck with 300k miles? seems a bit steep to me

If you've ever seen 'Shipping Wars' on A&E, this truck was most likely doing exactly what they do.

It's crazy to see the mileage some people put on their cars. When I worked at Carmax, I did a fair amount of appraisals. You get a lot of cars with super-low miles - usually sold by the children of deceased people. I had a lady come in for an appraisal on a 2000? Impala owned by her late mother. It had 700 miles on it (the current year was 2013).

Then I had the cute old grandma come in for an appraisal on her 2007 Buick LaCrosse. I was expecting it to be another super-low mileage grandma-car. It had 260,000 miles. She drove like 300 miles per day to watch her grandchildren in West Virginia.
